Re: The Runner Up:

VYC they were already booked. But one thing I did not like they have more than one wedding at a time. Also Meadow club I was going to pick that place. It was reasonable and nice.

I would say the Venetian Yacht Club because it's on the water or the WaterMill. But we love the Fox Hollow too..

Re: The Runner Up:

Runner up: The Harrison House now called Glen cove Mansion... Reason being they wanted me to have either a afternoon wedding or Friday night due to minimums and I wanted Sat.

But... I am excited I didn't settle b/c I LOVE Deseversky, and I got my Sat night!

Re: The Runner Up:

I originally wanted Windows on the Lake b/c it was nice and local..but the prices were a little high ...I was bummed. Then my mother and I took a trip to the east wind and only looked at the country gardens. We fell in love with it that i didnt even look at the estate nor the ballroom.

Re: The Runner Up:

I loved the Harbor Club, but in the end, we both decided we liked the modern, city feel of the Metropolitan. However, I have to say, Harbor club was gorgeous, great views, and Cara who we had our appt. with, was so helpful and so nice.

Re: The Runner Up:

our other two choices were Westbury Manor and Swan Club

ETA: We booked Watermill because I just fell in love with it. We would've gone with Westbury because it was close and reasonable and Swan Club was mostly for price

I always in my head thought Oheka Castle, but I have never been there. Just loved the pictures I have seen.
