so this doctor I saw yesterday - the one that looked like Bill Clinton - showed me how to hold the baby so she wont' cry. AND IT WORKS!
Let's see if I can share...I had noticed that when I hold Sophia on my hip, facing out, with her head kind of lolling on my arm looking like the neck is broken - she seems very content. This is like that sort of. Okay...
Hold the baby out from you, with one hand under her butt, and the other hand on her chest with your fingers bracing to keep the head steady. The baby stops crying instantly. You can't really carry her around this way, but it's a good way to settle her down!
