I KNOW it is very inpractical to get this since I need to be able to put it in my car. But isn't it lovely? It just makes me dream of walking my baby.

Re: The stroller I love
Hi Michele! I love'prams' and often see a lot of women in my neighborhood with them. You can always get 2 strollers: put one in the trunk of your car that's easier to fold up and take in and out, and keep this one in the house for walks in your neighborhood!

Wow, it's $600! Okay, I guess not!
I registered for a Maclaren Quest umbrella stroller that's only 11 lbs (but not to be used until the baby is a certain weight or 6 months old). Since we live in Queens, I'm going to keep this one in the house for local use, and the larger one that my SIL is giving me from Peg Perego in the car.

Re: The stroller I love
The stroller weights 23 lbs, the bassinet part weights 17lbs That is A LOT of carriage to try to get in and out of a car. If I didn't drive and lived in NYC I would get this in a heartbeat.
T- Your Mom is nuts Tell her NO more baby stuff since it is bad luck to buy soooo early. I mean, this is really, really early.

Michele, You think you are thinking impractical? I'm not even pregnant yet and cannot stop thinking of this carriage! I had one as a baby as well.
Check out this one.... its similiar to the classic pram, but it seems to fold and the bassinet can be swapped out for a stroller seat. The only thing to think about is weight, which I didn't see listed. I love, love, love it!
Michele, that is a really nice stroller but I can't believe how much money they want for it.

Re: The stroller I love
Well I bought the baby a PINK baby dior bib in Sacks..
But that is it.....
I am 25.. Not having a baby till 30.......
I said MOM I don't even know how to cook.
Who is feeding these babies.. They can't eat WOOD? That is all Ron knows!

Michele, the carriage looks similar to the one you want.Maybe it has a good price and you can get that one and another one. T- I agree with Michele.Don't buy any baby stuff until after you are preggy. I think its bad luck.

Re: The stroller I love
Ok, I absolutely love that stroller too and I had one as a baby and I definately want one. I live in Bklyn and plan on doing lots of walking when my little one comes. Ok, here goes my rationale into getting it even if it is $600.......You can use that stroller for every baby you have(as long as you keep it nice.) You can pass it down to others to use as well...It's totally worth it!! I say SPLURGE!! It's beautiful!! If you have a mom and sis go in on it, it's not that bad...register for it, you'll get it!!

Re: The stroller I love
The one Kate posted is the SAME price as the one I posted. We will have to see. That is a lot of money for something I cannot use that often. But I still love it

Would you believe my Aunt saved (or should I say preserved) my cousins carriage. It looks very similar to the one posted. My cousin is using it for her son. It's beautiful.

I love it! There is a similar one on Posh Tots for $2,100, which makes $600 look like a bargain!
