The suspense is killing me!!!

OMGGGGGGGGGGG you waited 2 months to get to the top of the list?????? How long does it take for her to actually make the invitations???? OMG I didnt know it was going to take that long... AHHHHHH Ok.... now I am going to start freaking out! lol

YAY! I hear ya. It did take so long but as long as you have several months before the wedding, it is so worth it. Mine are all set and just waiting to go into production. I love what she came up with. By the way, one thing I'll say is the suspense was killing me too and I wasn't happy with my first two mockups - they were pretty, but not what I envisioned. When I told her my thoughts, she was wonderful and had new visuals within a few days for me and she totally nailed it so don't worry if it isn't perfect when you first get it. Congrats!!!

OMg ladies, I dunno if I can do this...... I have been stalking the list already and it hasnt been long! LOL Wow, it really takes a couple of months???


Also, ladies who have their invites or who have seen a sample of their invite.... does it feel cheap?? Or like professional???

I think it took about 2 months total until we got our proof. I started back in mid-October with my idea inventory, got a couple of mockups about 2 weeks after that (end of Oct) - wasn't happy with them and she revised and sent those back to me within a week. Loved the third mockup. Finally saw the proof online a few weeks after that and then received the actual proof in the mail right before Christmas. I think mine looks AMAZING. It really came out exactly as I imagined. The colors, the paper, everything. It is TORTURE being on the list though. No lie - I would wake up at night sometimes and log on to see if the blog was updated (am I a freak or what!) but I just couldn't wait. What I would say is as long as you have time (i.e., your wedding isn't in the beginning of 2009), I think it's well worth it.

Thank you for letting me know. Yes, I still have time.... but like you said I am already checking and re-checking the list LOL!!!! Do you have pics of your invite? I'd love to see?? Nicole, I forgot her sn posted her invite and I fell in LOVE with them! Ive looked at TONS of invites and havent liked anything and there was nothing that ever stood out to me.... I am so excited about getting them already!!!

Don't freak out!! I honestly think it will take less time for her to make the invites than for you to get a proof. Mine are set to be complete by Feb 15th and I believe the materials are being ordered this week. I am sure they will be completed really quick once you approve a proof!

I've been doing my SAVE THE DATES since October!!!!!!!! I just want to send them out already.

I'm not sure exactly...she had it broken down by season originally, but then condensed the lists into one, and based it off of date of first contact. Once the list was condensed, I was at 8 or 9, and that was about a week and a half to two weeks ago.

I think it took long for me though because I still have so much time before the wedding, for any girls who are concerned.
