what exactly are there duties as a swan lol. they said the runners up is for if the winner cant 'carry out her duties' lol i guess she has to become the national board of plastic surgeons spokeswoman now lol. every woman can look beautiful if you get 10s of thousands worth of free plastic surgery lol

Yeah, I wondered the same thing about their 'duties'. And why did the women keep saying for people to 'live out their dreams'. Is getting free plastic surgery so that you can compete in a beauty contest really their idea of living out a dream?
Sounds more like luck to me.

i'm guilty of watching too...DH asked me what the duties of a Swan were too...I assumed interviews, appearances on cheesy talk shows etc..lol

Me too! Although I must add, I was reading magazines, ironing, etc while watching. Thats the type of show you just cant sit there and watch, ya know!?!?

I knew Rachel was going to win...She was the least fake looking one. Some of those women were still ugly and most of them looked so fake

I watched. I can't believe she stayed with her husband after he was so rude to her before the makeover! The one Beth too whose husband cheated on her!!!!

I watched some of it last night. I think most of them looked scary or like men in drag. The few that looked good would have looked good if they lost a few pounds, styled their hair and stopped dressing so frumpy - and they could have done that on their own.

I was shocked that they were basically telling these women 'you are so ugly that you need intense therapy'
