the timeline of the day of wedding

If I am having my ceremony at 12:30pm, roughly speaking, when should I have my hair and makeup done? ... is it too tight to take the pre-ceremony photos? is it better to take photos after party(ends at 6pm)?

Are you planning to take the pre-ceremony pic on the site only? I saw some ppl gone to beach or garden near RH before ceremony to take photos...

That would be tough and youd have to start earlier.
Were taking pics at the Venue :)

My ceremony was at 1:30 and we started getting ready at 7am. I started at 7:30 with my hair. Trying to take pics first would have been way too much to do. So we took pics during CH and some pics after the reception was over.

Why did you need to start so early if you didn't take pictures first?

My ceremony starts at 12:00 and i will be taking pre ceremony pics. So it depends on how many people are getting ready with you. I have myself and 3 others. So my day starts at 5:30am with hair coming to start than 6:30am makeup comes to start. By 9:30-10am, we should be done and i will be doing a reveal with my FH. From than until about 11:30ish we will be doing photos.

So it depends who is getting ready with you, are you doing a reveal with your FH before ceremony and if you want to enjoy your cocktail hour and not take pictures than.

3 hours for makeup?

Thats hair and makeup.

My hair stylist and makeup artist says its 45 mins for me. and 30 mins for each girl. Plus you have to leave time in between for any problems that may occur.
