The tipping is getting out of control!

ok - my wedding is 11 days away and I am trying to figure out all the tipping BS



I agree the maitre'de should get tipped

what do you think about this:
make-up owns her own company - tip?
hair - owns her own company- tip?
band - 1 guys owns it - so shoudl i tip the rest of them and how much??
Photo - 3 of them, 1 owns it - how much and who do I tip?
DOC - works for herself - still gets a tip?
video - owns his own company - tip?
valet guys?
bartenders?
lady in waiting supplied by oheka - I know she gets tipped

Ok from my experience here are my thoughts on the tipping.

Make-Up: No tp

Hair: Tip 15-20% of total

BAnd: You should tip but not necessary

Photo: Tip

DOC: No tip

Video: Tip

Valet Guys: Your guests can tip them

Bartendars: YOur guest can tip them if they please.

Lady in waiting: Not to sure about this one.

for the people that own the company, its really upto you. Ive spoken to brides who didnt tip and brides that did. I tipped the hair and makeup girls and Tarale mentioned to me its totally upto the bride, they dont expect to be tipped or anything since they do pocket all the money.

The photographer/videographer I didnt tip because he owns the co. but did tip the assistant.

Limos we tipped the drivers $50

Ive read DOCs usually dont get tipped but I felt like mine did alot for me so I tipped her anyway but I was planning to originally.

for vendors like valet and bartenders I think since your guests are tipping them you dont have to.
