The Touch

Has anyone been to a wedding or actually booked The Touch as the band? I know that I like the way they sound, but was wondering if they were overpriced and if they took a lot of breaks. I have heard good things about them at weddings, but am looking for some more opinions. Thanks.

I have not seen them play a wedding, but I have been to many clubs where they played. I considered them for my wedding, but I felt they weren't worth their price b/c they don't have a female singer. Just my opinion...

Well, I'd be guessing at this point, since it's almost two years ago that I researched them - I am pretty sure they were over $4300 for 5 hours. That was almost $1,000 more than some other bands that offered female lead singers.

I've also only seen them out in clubs, however that was also back in 1990...they are experienced and have a great reputation and I know the lead singer has something to contort his voice to do female songs...Why don't you see if you can see them at another wedding...4300 for 5 hours doesn't seem too bad.. also try fullhouse..I hear they are great too.

The Touch

I had the Touch for my wedding and they were absolutely amazing!!! Believe me, I had so many arguments with my mother since there was no female singer in the band and after the wedding she apologized to me and said she was so wrong. People are still telling me how wonderful they were. Make sure you check them out and you will truly be so happy if you use them.

The Touch - Price

I forgot to mention the price, they were $4000 for four hours. Totally worth the money - they truly made the wedding!!!
