I have a few friends who have had cheating spouses:
i found a few friends who are the really 'hot girls' had their husband cheat on them is because they completely nag them all the time and cut them down. They actually go for the less attractive girl to cheat with who actually has a nice personality and doesn't ask for the world. Found that ironic.
And for the guys who had their wives cheat on them its because they go for a younger guy. I think it has to do with sex drive - women hit a peak at 30-35 where they are sex craved and guys start to slump at that time so women need that affection and just go for the younger man who can supply it.
Just odd to see it happen.
Im not surprised at all when they say men will cheat with unattractive women. Just because a man has a hot wife doesnt mean they have everything. Their sex life could be awful. Just cause a woman is hot doesnt mean she's good in bed. I think its very important in a marriage to keep things NEW. That means not letting sex become redundant always trying new things in the bed. Also never forgetting the little things like asking eachother about our days and cooking together. I think a lot of people forget about the small stuff that means so much.

Yeah, it's not really about looks, it seems. A few months ago, the Pastor marrying us requested that me & FH watch this marriage DVD (in place of the usual Pre-marriage counseling) and it was AMAZING!! It talked about the differences in Men & Women - how nobody's 'wrong' just 'different'. The speaker talked about how women need to be LOVED and men need to feel RESPECTED. Like, for example, saying 'I love you' will mean sooo much more to the wife than it would the husband. It's just in our nature to be loved, as it is in a Man's nature to feel respected.
Afterwards me & FH kinda stopped and told each other what the things are that we love & respect about one another. I can't even tell you how much it meant to FH when I told him how much I appreciate all of the hard work he does, and how I know he's going to be a great husband and that I trust him to always 'take care' of me. I mean, you could just see it in his eyes. I never realized how important it was to TELL him these things, even though i've always FELT it.
So when I read this article, it just made sense! A man is more likely the 'stray' if he's not feeling that respect that he needs. Just how a woman will 'stray' if she's not feeling as loved as she's supposed to.

so true, i know some guys who can look at a gorgeous girl and say 'she is probably not good in bed'(not all gorgeous girls) but just something about them i guess, dh does this all the time when we see a gorgeous snotty girl on tv and he says 'yeah she acts all that probably she probably s*cks in bed'Some guys say its bc they think theyre all that so they feel just sleeping with them is good enough and they dont have to put in that extra effort.

And I definitely agree with the last part of your post. Some hot chicks think it takes no effort in bed cause theyre hot.
