So I just had a conversation with FH and he suggested that we organize a large get together for a Saturday Night/Sunday Afternoon in June for us to all gtg with our FH's [Chris really wants to meet everyone]. We were thinking about renting out a bar or a section or a bar where we can all meet and mingle. If this is something that you may be interested in let me know and we can start planning.

I would love to get together, depending when it is so that me and FH can make it up.
JMO: May is the most popular month for weddings I think that a lot of people will not be able to make it. I have a wedding May 17th. Definitely collect the money before hand.
There is a bar can't think of the name it's on Covert Ave. in Floral Park and the are have great prices for renting the upstairs for a few hours of open bar. Each couple can bring food so we can eat and drink. I have to say that you FH is awesome that he wants to meet everyone. My FH thinks I'm nuts telling strangers our business. He just doesn't understand how important we all are to each other.

I'm in...i like the idea about Nassau..and definitely collect money ahead of time!
Also, about May being a common wedding month, I think we have to just pick a date and go with it. It could be said that June is really busy for teachers (and it seems there are a bunch of them on here.) I say we pick a day that most can go and if you can make it awesome, if not, then catch ya at the next one!

I agree, if anything June may even more popular than May!! Set up a poll for May and see what happens!
