So i was telling FH last night how I am BOTW and what my first question was. Started telling him my grand eternal 3 way idea. Finished up the story and expected a laugh......dead silence. He was not amused. Was a little put off that I'm already planning to remarry. Told him he's sending me to an early grave so I'll be gone first and he'll be the one to remarry. Told him I'd want him to live out the rest of his life happy and that he should get remarried if the right person were to come along. Dead silence once again. He turned to me and with dead serious face said that if I remarried he'd haunt me til death. So yeah, remarriage is definitely out if god forbid anything were to happen to him. Asked him if he'd rest easier if I was a **** and he said that would be fine.
Men.

I told FH his next wife should look like me but her boobs better not be bigger. He thinks it's funny.

Re: The unhappy FH
At a family party a couple of my aunts were talking about that with their husbands and all of my uncles said they would remarry and they got all in a huff about it... Until I reminded them that they'd all be a bunch of old cougars and be hitting the bars for 25 year olds if they were ever single again.
Me and FH have both said that we would be open to the idea of remarrying if we lost the other one. Life is too short to spend alone.

This is what i tried to express to FH......why be alone for the rest of your life? Said I'm the one, I'm it and he wouldn't be the same without me. Love him.

Well at least he is trying to stay positive with all the morbid talk and wants you to be it!!!!
My FH always tries to make jokes saying that he will die first and then i will be off with lots of boyfriends and be the town cougar tramp

Re: The unhappy FH
FH doesnt like the idea that I'd be willing to remarry. If I died, and he found someone he loves I'd want him to be happy. I don't think because someone dies, you need to spend your whole life mourning.

Yeah my FH gets the same reaction when I joke about stuff like that. He always thinks there is some under lying truth behind the joke.

Re: The unhappy FH
FH told me I was crazy for the 3-way and stated since I couldn't talk him into in life, i was making sure i could have it in death. I just said, so I have your blessing and went to the watch bridezalla.

Re: The unhappy FH
I agree life is too short to spend alone. I would never want FH to be all alone.
I am a nurse in a nursing home, it's like 85% widowed women (we do live longer).
This one man had re-married after his first wife died. He told me while he loved his wife now, his first was the light of his life and no woman will ever fill her shoes. It was really sweet but also sad. I know that no woman will ever fill my shoes for FH and the same for him, but I still wouldn't want to be alone.
