The Veil

When you walk down the isle the veil is over your face. Then my father will pick up the veil and kiss me and hand me off to FH. Does the veil stay over the face or not?

I have seen it both ways. I would have the veil not on my face once i reach FH cause of the pictures and stuff.

Any comments?

I'm not wearing a veil over my face at all.....but, I've seen it done both ways you referenced in your question. Do whichever you like.

Yeah I will have it on down walking down with my dad and then off once i get up there. I have just decided hehehehe.

Exactly! It will be like in my face and you def will see me doing the blowing off my face thing hehehehehe. Not pretty hehehehe.

I don't think I will be wearing it over my face at all, especially since FH and I are doing pics before the ceremony.

I have also seen it done both ways, it's really up to you!

i'm going to wear it over my face coming down the aisle but then leave it off for the ceremony. we're taking pictures beforehand so it's not a big deal, but i want the veil over the face effect for my guests!

im wearing the blusher over my face until my dad kisses me...and then he lifts it up...

me too...FH is REALLY looking forward to that part

im going to wear it over my face down the aisle and then my dad will lift it up once we get to the alter so it is away from my face for the ceremony. if you leave it on, how do you do the kiss?
