The Vineyard's

Just wondering.... Are any of you having your reception at the Vineyard Caterers in Aquebogue?? I just selected my menu today, and I can't wait for the food!!!!!

Hi! A co-worker of mine got married there ast year and said everything was beautiful. I have not heard anything but good things about them. I have also seen some gorgeous pics taken there too. Truely magnificent. Congrats!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding there and the food and everything else was amazing. It was one of the best weddings I've ever been to and I would have gotten married there myself if it wasn't so far away. The cocktail hour food was so so so good!

I've never been to a wedding there, but have been to parties and benefits. The food and service are impecable! Your wedding will be wonderful!!

I went to a wedding there last year and the place is just the best!! The food, the grounds everything. That is where I wanted to get married but it was just to far for the majority of our friends and family.

We had both our ceremony and reception there and they did an incredible job. Everyone raved about the place, the location and especially the food.

You will have a great wedding.

I am soo glad to hear the rave reviews!! I know it's going to be awesome! They pay attention to even the smallest details, and they are so accomodating. My fiance works at a brewery, so they are allowing him to brew our very own wedding beer, and the Vineyard's is letting us set it up and they are serving it there! How awesome! We went for our tasting a few months ago and picked the menu on Sunday. The food is excellent, and I no, I can't believe how much they give you. I'm going to have to not eat a week before in order to sample as much as I can there :) I can't wait ! Only 24 days to go!!

I am so excited for you! We're getting married there in August and I can't wait to hear your review! FH and I ate like pigs when we went to our tasting, they practically had to roll us out of there We were so stuffed we sat in the car for a half hour afterwards before driving away just to 'regroup' lol. And how awesome is Johnny?!!!

I was married there in October 2005. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. The service and food were impecable. My guests are still raving about it 7 months later!

ps- what's your fav. part of the place? Mine is the deck. My FH's is the groom's suite (of course). But everything to the staircase, the grounds, the bridal suite, ballroom, EVERYTHING is beautiful. I knew it was the place when we walked in! It feels like 'home'.

My feeling is TOTALLY MUTUAL!!!!!! My favorite part of it is the deck and the bridal suite it is HUGE!!

I know you said you haven't heard anything bad but IMO the food is terrible there. I have been there for 3 events and I hated everything. It's possible that since I have been there they have changed chef's or something though. However that was why I never considered them for my wedding even though they are close for me.

Are you serious?!?! When I went for my tasting there, I was so full I could barley move! And my fiance, who is the pickest eater known to man, sampled just about everything and LOVED it! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like the food. Maybe they have changed chef's. Everyone that I've heard that has been there, aside from this forum, said that the food and service was outstanding.

Congrats!! I'm sure it'll be great, you're in good hands and I CANT WAIT to hear your review about them!!
FH's favorite is the big screen in the bridal suite of course....he's already putting together a little poker game with his groomsman for that morning lol
My favorite of course is the deck overlooking the waterfall and vineyard, and the whole 'cozy' feel to the place. My mom cried the first time I took her there
