The Watermill.

On tuesday I attended a bridal show at the Watermill. I must applaud all the brides who have choosen the Watermill for thier reception. The food was superb, the decor elegant and the drinks was not water down. Even though I did not chose the Watermill for my reception hall (because it did not fit my buget for a Sat evening affair) I still give the Watermill 'Two Thumbs Up'.

Wow! At the Huntington Hilton? Thats barely $30 a person. Did that include any wine/beer or was it no alcohol?

If you and your fi have choosen the Watermill, then you have made an excellent choice. I'm getting marry at the wedding factory (LOL). I choose that place (after looking at several halls) because of various reasons:

I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one that had a hard to finding parking. I might take your suggestion on Daivd Bridal BM dresses. Maybe I could use it towards my BM dresses (as a gift from me to them). Is that tacky?

You mention that you took the train. Do you work in the city? If so, there is another show at the Gand Hyatt Hotel on 1/29/01 (sorry it on a Monday). It starts at 6:00pm. Just thought that you might be interested.

I have the post card that came in the mail at work. I'll read it when I get to work and let you know tommrow.

Anyway, one day my immediate supervisor confronted me and asked if we had set the date yet. Well, I wasn't going to lie and I told her yes, but that we were trying to keep it very quiet. I work for a huge company and deal with many people in various departments, and I'm having a hard time figuring out the guest list.

No I didn't win anything. Maybe I'll have better luck at the next bridal show.
However, when I attend The Great Bridal Show in NY, I won a gift certificate for $500 for David Bridal. I haven't decided if I buying my dress from them. But I will go and see what they have.
