The Watermill

Getting ready to sign at the Watermill in Smithtown with Brian. Is there anything I should know beforehand? It's a big committment, wouldn't want to start a marriage with regrets. Thanks.

It is a beautiful place. I just went to a wedding (for one of my HS friends ;)) there last saturday- afternoon in the large room, it did rain so no outdoor cocktail hour. FM for details. We were talking to George about having my wedding there-very nice! You could not go wrong there, service was great, but it really depends on what you are looking for...

I went to a wedding there in '07. The cocktail hour was my absolute favorite part-the food was amazing. I really liked everything there-it seemed really smooth and a lot of fun. They got married at the RH and it was really nicely done there too. Good luck! I know there are a few girls on the '08 board getting married there. Maybe repost this there too.

I had my wedding there and it was great. We loved it and so did our guests- you should have no worries

Watermill is fabulous. I went to my cousin's wedding there. It was very nice and she loved everything- she had NO complaints. They went a bove and beyond and actually surprised her with a few things.

i love the cocktail hour myself. as a guest at weddings i think it's the best part. my fiance and i are planning on being a part of the cocktail hour (mingling with guest, stuffing our faces ) that's how much we love it.

Thanks for the postiive respone for the Watermill. As a Brooklyn girl I wasn concerned but now am just thrilled. Is it true, everything goes so quickly? Kel, my fiance, doesn't really care about a video but my concern is will I remember any or all of it if it flys by as I've been told.
