I actually got one the day before the wedding. I was like 'DUH' thanks for the notice! We had gotten a verbal response from the guy, I guess the girlfriend finally found it & thought to send it back

You can just let them know during the reception as your sipping a nice glass of chamapgne..oh jeez....didn't know you were coming, sorry there isn't enough plates to go around. Mmmmm, is this cavier good or what?
