Has anyone used 'The Wedding Center' in commack to buy their dress or any of the other things they sell??? I wanted to start looking for my dress and i was told to try that place but i have heard mixed things about their services.....

I had to buy a bridesmaid dress there and I swore Id never spend another dime in that store. Personally i had a bad experience. They were rude and the store is filthy. There are tons of different shops on li but you can always try it out, maybe youll have a better experience. Good luck.

I tried on dresses there and they were very nice, I didn't have an appt and they still accomodated me. However, I would check out all the reviews on here and then use your discretion. It's up to you

i havent purchased anything but i have been there twice. I never had a BAD experience, i just havent had a great one there either. I don't think the store is filthy but it could be b/c i go in when there's like NO ONE there. middle of the weekday and what not.
My nieces both got there dresses for their uncle's wedding there and my SIL said that they were great.
Their prices are also pretty good. You can find better prices if you want to go looking, but if not, I think they do just fine.
I havent heard very good things about their alterations department though.
and the owner creeps me out.

I was just in a friends wedding and they used that placed for everything and it was bad!!
Her dress day of the wedding didn't have hooks for the bustle....they wanted her to pick up her dress a month before the wedding cuz they didn't have storage....as well as our BM dresses....
The limos had no AC and were dirty...The photographer left the chruch for the hall without taking a BP pix in front of it...and when she saw her proofs she said they were horrible, not even one pix of her and her dad walking down the aisle!!!
Yeah she got a package deal on everything but the service and quality were lacking..

I would go to Wedding World. FH and I went there last week and everyone was really nice. Other than their video, the place seemed to have a lot to offer. Photography work looked great, small dress shop, but the bride trying her dress on while I was there brought tears to my eyes she looked amazing. The seamstress looked and acted like she knew what she was doing. I would definately go check them out..... I have not heard to many good things about the wedding center, but I have not had any personal experiences myself with them.

I went there b/c they supposedly had the entire jjelm bm line there. They were rude and not at all helpful! It was as if I was bothering them. I left soooo disgusted. It was such a negative vibe all around there. It made me sick.

OOOOOOOPS I DIDNT GO TO THE WEDDING CENTER THEY ARE HORRIBLE.. I went to wedding world in COmmack on austin blvd. They were reallly nice and helpful!!! SOrry got confused.
