Has anyone been to the wedding center in commack? was it for your wedding dress? im going crazy because i hate my dress and i found one i love and the wedding center beat the price of the other salon by 700 dollars.. is it too good to be true? He sounded so nice on the phone but I am nervous!
From the outside it really look sketchy but I actually went there with my mom for MOB dress and we had a great time. The only thing I found was that they were not as attentive as other salons.
From what I heard as far as dresses, invites, limos and things of that nature theyre good. I went there and they seemed nice enough. As far as photo, video stay FAR away. A friend of mine used them for her wedding and she has a video from 1980 and polariod (sp?) pictures would have been better... She spend HOURS upon HOURS editing her own pictures.
I have ordered a BM dress from there a few years ago and no problems, I literally ordered over the phone and picked it up when it was in so I had basically no interaction with the staff. I went when I was looking for my dress and once you are in there you get the full experience. While I was trying on dressed I had to listen to the owner over and over again say how they were the best place and that they had everything and they could beat anyones price (it was literally the most annoying thing ever). Also I ended up basically helping myself and every rack that I touched shocked me, they must have had a live electric current or something. I wouldn't trust them with anything like photo but as far as the dress goes. I don't think you would have a problem if you ordered it and picked it up when it came in since you know what you want. If you do a search you will be able to see negative things girls have said about this

I got my dress and BMs dresses from there. The place is pretty dumpy, but they were (for the most part) very friendly and helpful (there was one woman that was not overly friendly, but I only dealt with her briefly). The owner is definitely pushy, but I just kind of nodded my head - yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah - and then went about doing what I was there for. I had a complicated BM dress order (different color, fabric and length than the dress was shown to be available in) and they were helpful in contacting the designer and getting me just what I was looking for.
