The Wedding Center in Commack

Terrible, terrible, terrible experience there! I feel almost bad even writing anything, because it is so not me to ever complain about things. I usually just chalk bad customer service up to just people being people, however I just got home from The Wedding Center in Commack and have to share my terrible experiences with other girls before they give that place any money! Because I cannot seem to make decisions easily, my fiance and I have gone to a ridiculous amount of vendors while planning, and I have never received such disgraceful customer service in all of our travels all over Long Island. Their service is simply appaling and all we were even going for were invitations!

We were there also today and we were pretty happy. They were very busy when were there (2-4 pm) so maybe that was it.

Were you picking up a dress? I did see someone asking for help down stairs when everyone was helping someone else.

The person seemed kind of annoyed she was just trying to pick up dress but it happens when the place is so busy.

Well, just a hint, DO NOT GO TO WEDDING WORLD in commack either. They may be WORSE. FH and I went there 2 weeks ago, for TUXES. And let me tell you, it was such a pathetic joke. I dont even know how that dump is in business. The place was filthy first off. We met with this teenager who ran the tux department. We didnt really have an idea what FH wanted to wear, other than colr, and we expected her to show us some diff jackets, vests, etc. so... she said to look thru a book.. I was like W T F?? We want to see him in a few different things - she was like no, 'well we dont have those here, 'just picture what he would look like.'.

Yea, I am going to 'picture' what he should look like on our wedding day. Then I tell her our colors.. its an 11/29 wedding, the girls are wearing black/champagne dresses. She comes out with a stark white tie and white vest, when I told her that is not what I want. She says thats all she has to try on. She then shows me 2'x2' swatches of filthy, stained fabric, and tells me this is what she referred to for her 'quinceanera' '(sweet 16), not too long ago!

I said to FH, 'lets get the H E L L out of here, before I lose my patience,' and out we went, while she was in mid-sentence.

So, if you have a good imagination and want to 'picture' what your FH should wear.. go here.

Needless to say, we went to RSVP in Bayshore, and the woman jennifer was AWESOME. FH tried on about 12 diff tuxes. They were so knowledgeable and helpful with tons to choose from.....
