The wedding last night....

Invite said 6 p.m at the church, so FH and I got there at 6. The ceremony actually began at 8 p.m. !! Then the reception began at 10 p.m., but I missed most of cocktail hour because you had to tell them your name at the door, in order for them to check you off and to receive your table number. Dinner was served around 1:45 a.m., and the cake was cut at 2:30 a.m. I am guessing it ended at 3, but FH and I left at 2:30. We were falling asleep!!
Because of the delayed hours, I will admit my review is slightly skewed. so instead of talking about the negatives, here are the things we liked about Riviera:

1. Each table had it's own bartender.
2. The outside garden was gorgeous!
3. The presentation of the main course was awesomely entertaining in a very silly way lol
4. The appetizer of lox, and the pasta course

I wish I knew why it had started so late. It drove me crazy.

The waiters brought in whole chickens on skewers and tossed them into the fire in front of each table lol. I'll try and post pics of that later.

are you sure there wasn't a probelem... seems weird that the invite said 6. my wedding the limos were 45 min late, they went to a diffrent house altogether. it is very easy for something out of your control to go wrong that holds up the wedding.

There were no limos, no problems. In THEIR words they said 'It's a Haitian wedding, you should have expected this'
