I actually wanted to do Karaoke at my wedding, but I think I've decided to forget about it. At my e-party I grabbed the mic and started wrapping Ice, Ice, Baby. Only I forgot the lyrics, which for me is kinda strange (and I wasn't drunk, lol). So it wasn't as fun as I had thought it would be.
I definitely wouldn't be singing karaoke in a room full of strangers.

Once you meet everyone at the cocktail hour they no longer will be strangers!
