As a little girl I know many of us used to have this vision of what our big day would be like. Are you sticking with some of those ideas or going a completely going a different way?

Re: The wedding you always dreamed about?
I always wanted a big wedding. So I guess you can say 250 people is big. I would have loved to have more flowers. Flowers everywhere. But I can only afford so much. But otherwise I have to say Its the wedding of my dreams. (I also never dreamed of all the problems with my Bridesmaids)

Re: The wedding you always dreamed about?
ABSOLUTELY!!! I always envisioned a wedding on the beach. 100% romantic and intimate. Luckily I have a FH with a small family too and the same feels as me. We both felt we did not need to get tied up with 200 of our closest friends & family and all the little details that go with that. I don't knock those who are AT ALL. Bu when it's done week can look back on an amazing 3-week long vacation, instead of a 4 hour party.

Re: The wedding you always dreamed about?
I always wanted the big classic traditional princess wedding. I think we are acomplising that without breaking the bank or going overboard.

Re: The wedding you always dreamed about?
I originally had every intention of getting married in Disney World, but since my grandmother doesn't fly and we have a huge family...it just didn't work out that way.

Re: The wedding you always dreamed about?
i've always been a wedding person. ever since i was little anything wedding related on TV had me fascinated... even when i was young (i mean like 8-10 years old) i knew who vera wang was. lol and believe it or not i knew what oheka castle was... and i said 'i must have a vera wang gown and i must get married at oheka, i don't care what the cost'... LOL fast forward to 11 years later and i got a grip of myself AND reality... so i registered for a lot of Vera Wang stuff INSTEAD LOL but ended up falling in love with another gown.... which was much more affordable too, YAY!
but oheka was always my dreamthat's OK though-- nothing beats the time i met a girl at the oheka showcase (of course i had to go, it was like the mother-ship calling me home). i was in the bathroom and there was this girl there with her big ol' ring on and i said how beautiful it was and she said thank you and she asked where i was getting married. so i said flowerfield and her face dropped to the FLOOR and she was like OH that was where i wanted to get married, ever since i was little but (for some reason that was personal, i dont know) she needed to get married at a certain time and didn't have a lot of 'options' in terms of her date... so when they went to book FF, they were completely booked for the month she HAD to get married in... she thought she went early enough she was SO sad!!!! so i was like oh, well, where did you end up booking? she goes oh, here (oheka) with a sigh!!! i was thinking: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!! who sighs in disappointment over oheka?!! so she was like, don't get me wrong-- i love it here but my dream was FF.... LOL and I'm thinking yeah I love FF and all but c'mon!!! lol.. it was really funny and something i'll never forget.
....it just goes to show you what one person's idea of 'perfect' is vs. another person's idea.. she said, nice to meet you, told me how LUCKY i was lol!!!! and left... what an experience!
so i thought i would share-- but that was my dream wedding growing up-- lots of white roses and red roses-- which i am doing for my wedding, more red and beige though. but i'm very happy, don't get me wrong, with FF and with my wedding so i am getting a dream wedding but it's changed over the years a bit.

Re: The wedding you always dreamed about?
i never dreamed about getting married when i was little...i always told everyone i would never get married because the divorce rate was too high for me to take that kind of chance and i didn't want to bring kids into the world if the father and i were just going to get divorced
yeah...i was a strange child

Re: The wedding you always dreamed about?
It's good to hear that most people are having the wedding they always wanted.
With the exception of getting married in a castle, no matter how many times I change my mind about things I also end up going back to what I used to want. The princess gown, pictures in a huge garden, and my prince charming!!! So what if I had to kiss a few toads until i found him!
