The word that I hate the MOST - worse than panties

Panty.
You think it's the same but it's not. They sound entirely different when spoken aloud.

I EFFING HATE THAT WORD

I made the mistake of telling the man.
He used it on me several hours later.
I was stuck in a car with him so I couldn't run away screaming.
I cried a little bit instead.

you, know something - I will agree.

I don't think 'panty' is proper. It should always be PANTIES. If you are talking about 1 pair or 4738320 pairs. It's panties.

I can't think of a situation where panty is appropriate.

it's definitely not a word.

makes me think of some little white trash trailer girl for some reason...I can hear the drawl 'painty'

panty as a verb...

eta: I just realized, I DO use it...as in 'baja panty' as in...something that my panties instantly disintegrate for

Dictionary.com says it's a word. But they tend to suckk.

I heard/saw it used, word or not, and my skin wanted to crawl off of me.
