The worst half hour of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my!!! Just returned from having my MRI for my arm. At the interview I couldn't tell the technician EXACTLY where my arm hurt, but afterwards, I could tell him!!!!! I thought I was going to scream from the stabbing pain that developed because of holding my arm in one position for so long. Now I have to wait to hear from my Dr. about the results. But, I want to say, thanks LORD, for getting me through that!! Mary

Ohhhh... sounds like a long hour....I have heard those tests are not fun. Relax, it is over. Lets hope the doctor has good news.

Thanks, Kathy!! No, it was definitely NOT fun!!!! I have no clue why it's called an open MRI, since the rectangle just above my face, a BIG rectangle, gave that closed in feeling. I just kept my eyes closed, and tried to listen to the Christmas music over the noise of the MRI, which souded like a jackhammer!! I can describe being under that rectangle as being comparable to entering an attic on a hot day, and the hot air engulfs you. I couldn't figure out why the technician asked if I wanted a fan on, but it's because it gets kinda warm under that rectangle thingy. The tech was really nice. and very compassionate. He told me how long each set of pictures would take, but I had to wonder if those 5/6 minute tests weren't longer! The worst part was having my injured arm immobilized, in one position for so long. Yes, I'm praying for good news too!! Mary
