The worst part of moving ....

is packing up years of crap and throwing things out. I figured I'd start going through things now to make it easier later. Anyone want to clean my apartment out for me?

Well, I am still getting gifts one month later and I still have a few bags of packing peanuts. Unless Kathleen is making more necklaces for her BP and LIW girls, you are welcome to them - we have a few boxes too!

Oh man Cindy, good luck. Moving is so stressful, thankfully we went through this last year. I don't know if I could deal w/ wedding & moving stress at the same time. Good for you getting an early start.

I always had a problem throwing things out. ESPECIALLY toys from when I was a kid. Down in the basement I have my old ALF doll.. along with my Cabbage Patch kids & Rainbow Bright dolls. I just cant seem to get myself to throw them out. Actually- I refuse.

I say start now, because your wedding is in May. You are going to have a gazillion things to do right before your wedding... moving is soo annoying!

The whole process of moving stinks! But it will be worth it in the end!

OMG, I have Cabbage Patch Dolls too. I actually have two of those hammock things hanging on my walls filled with stuffed animals. I don't want to, but I may need to donate some of them and just keep the ones of really deep significance. Otherwise, There are way too many. I'm surprised my wall hasn't fallen down yet.

I do not envy you. I've moved quite a few times as well. But something tells me this move will be more annoying. We are clearing out 2 apartments and combining into one. And FH doesn't want to throw out anything.

I just moved, too. For me the worst part was getting ready this morning and realizing I had no idea where I packed my makeup! That's right, I'm bare faced this morning at work. Guess what I'm doing when I get home...

thank goodness this last one IS THE LAST one for atleast 10 years .. I moved from Queens out to Selden (his brothers house that we were going to buy) things happened and we had to move EVERYTHING into storage in the middle of the summer and move into an apt for 3 weeks till we had the closing date for our new house (directly up the block from the other one) then move it all out fo the apt and storage in the middle of the summer so Belive me when I tell you I know moving is a bi&^% :):)
