we 08'ers were married during a year that changed the world...it will be amazing to think about how we listed to the presidential debates on the radio during our honeymoon. So much has taken place this year....we are a special group.

We were on our honeymoon on Election Day. Our hotel had a big screen set up in the outdoor bar/pool.
I dozed off before the official announcement BUT I heard everyone screaming and clapping I rolled over and said 'I guess Obama won' and went back to sleep.

We were in Israel on our HM during election day, it was really interesting to see all the coverage on the election from another country

I was in alaska on my honeymoon on election day! no one there was for obama, and I expected some anger / protests / something -- but there was nothing. Lotsa of 'McPalin' signs though :)
Aside from the election - it was a crazy year. Financially, etc. It is strange to think how our lives PERSONALLY changed so much just as the country changed so much.
