What do you think of a garden theme for our wedding? We are already doing purples, yellows, and creams for our colors. We are looking into doing this though cuz we both love gardening and I love flowers and such. So here's some ideas I came up with:
-Flowers and petals on the placecard table with the placecard holders being these little silver butterflies and dragonflies I found
-Favors being some type of orchid gel candle or heart shaped seeds with a little poem that people can actually plant to grow flowers
-Save the dates and invitations in purple with flowers on them somehow
-Bird house for the card box (fh's idea lol)
-Table numbers with pics of us but with a floral border or something
-Flower in my hair when I get it done for the wedding day
What do you think? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

that sounds really pretty! you can def incorporate real flowers on the cake too!

i love the flowerpot with seed idea...i considered doing it since i am having a spring wedding but not sure if it will go...but it would be great if you have a whole garden theme!
there was a girl on here who posted this pic of a diy favor her friend made...i love it!
very cute! i did seeds n pails as favors for my parents anniversary party. if you need any suggested vendors let me know. I got a great deal from a lady on ebay.
