Theme wedding?!?!

Are you guys going to have a 'theme' for your wedding? I was thinking of doing a 'cruise' theme by naming the tables after decks on the boat or ports and getting 'beachy' centerpieces...anyone have any suggestions or pics?

I don't have any pictures, but I thought about adding nautical flags to the flowers to look more llike a ship. You can also have ships in bottles on the tables.

I think your cruise theme idea is great. If you search the web, I think you could find some invitations that would work well.

For favors/ seating 'cards' or napkin holders, you could use luggage tags that look like cruise ships. You can find them on

I think the same tags were also featured in one of the newest issues of wedding magazines - either Martha Stewart Weddings or Brides.

Also featured in Martha Stewart Weddings on page 117 are sailboat shaped placecards. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them. We are doing a nautical theme and my friend has been making them for us with pretty paper and we are going to use them as seating cards. I think they will add a fun, whimsical element to the wedding.

I think a themed wedding is a great idea.

We are having a fall them. Its fun to see the different things you can incorporate to make it so fun for the guests. There are so many great ideas. Good Luck!
