Since we are having our reception on the Chateau La Mer we are having a nautical theme with the invitations of a lighthouse, shell planters filled with fresh flowers, shells on table, etc.

We went to Chateau La Mer last night for one of those dinner theatre shows (the italion/ jewish wedding which was histerical by the way!!) but just wanted to say the food was good. Big portions, hot, cooked right, fresh vegatables... the salad was not so good a little soggy, but everything alse was great!!

We had a Jack & Jill shower...meaning that the ladies could bring their hubbies , mates, etc to the shower. most of our friends are couples anyway and it worked out REALLY well. Solved the prob of what to do with the guys during the shower.. Plus the guys liked hanging out together and sharing in the fun! ( THEIR WORDS!) As far as any theme, besidews Jack & Jill we realyl didnt have one..is it really necessary? (just my opinion!)

My friends was a Mexican theme which went over well. Pinata filled with gadgets and gag stuff, non-stop margaritas, sombreros and maraccas. It was a lot of fun...mostly the margaritas!
