UPDATE**

Soooo I got home yesterday aaaaaaaand

MY ORDER IS WRONG!!!

They didn't include my lined inner envelopes (which I paid for) AND they also didn't have the thermography printing like I also PAID FOR.

And to top it off they are closed until after the new year so I have to wait at least another week to fix it.

I mean, it's not the end of the world and my anger has subsided a bunch since yesterday (I wrote them an e-mail that was decidedly pleasant in nature) but it just sux b/c I wanted to start addressing envelopes last night and I'm a little dissapointed because this company usually gets awesome reviews.

Oh well.....I'll take pictures when my new ones come in.

Yea i work for a print shop and most places are closed this week. I am only here for babysitting purposes.

I have been hearing that many of the companies printers use to outsource the invitations been having issues with them. People are not getting the return address on the envelopes thermo which makes no sense since the press is all ready setup for that unless they are running it on a diff. press.

I just wanted to tell you the envelope that is linned is only the inner not the outter. So if you ordered only an outter it wouldn't be linned typically. BUT verify it with your printer. I had to argue with customers over this because the linned envelopes don't have the gumming on them.

What the print shop will do is ask if you want to take them with the discount OR if you want you can fight to get the order done correctly but that takes time.

I think I may have been unclear in my update post.

I did NOT rec've the Inner Envelopes AT ALL!! It wasn't that they didn't thermo them but they just weren't there!! Everything else I rec'vd (the invite, the rsvp, the rsvp envelope and the outter envelope) were all printed flat.

I work in a similar industry as well (I'm a graphic designer for a screen printer) and I double checked EVERYTHING to make sure all my proofs and corrospondence with them were correct. So in essense, I paid a sh!tload of money for a half-asssed job, which annoys me.

My hope is that they can re-do them and ship them to me quickly.
