There's a Squirrel in my House, in my house!
My bf & I go up to my brother's yesterday to help him & my SIL move some couches up to their summer place in Rhode Island. We open the door & there are pictures on the floor and everything off the counters. We're like What the HE**. Then my brother walks down the hall and is like HOLY SH** a squirrel!
My SIL and I take the baby out and for the next hour my bf & my bro are trying to find the squirrel equipped with the mop and a broom. We watched from the car outside & were hysterical at them opening up cabinets and jumping back.
Turns out they searched the place high & low and finally concluded (after we let their dog (lab) in) that he had run out ---we even saw tracks on the snow off the front steps.
We then went in & cleaned up very hesitantly.
It looks like he got in through the unused wood stove vent (the wire came off from the cap of the chimney)!
It was definitely an experience!
