ahh baby, don't sweat it. you and Mike are having your wedding, your way, at an awesome place. no one can take anything away from you- unless you let them. just listen to Sasha and keep your ideas to yourself. tell them you want all of your guests to be surprised by the details...

in the end the only person that really loses is him (well, and his future bride) ignore him and relax. he obviously has many problems if he is THAT competitive with his brother.

this is OUR time and OUR year- regardless of who else shares it, ENJOY the part that is YOURS and YOURS ALONE!!

I'd have to agree. The less they know the better. As for him getting engaged, just wish him luck and end it at that. Don't let anyone ruin this wonderful and happy time for you. In the end you and your FH are the lucky ones.

It's your day, nothing can take it away.

And, not for nothing, I'm sure you're not the only one who realizes they've had a ton of problems. Some people may take the engagement with a grain of salt because of their history.

I've seen people who had problems get engaged and the wedding never happens. Usually there is a lot of drama caused in the meantime.
