Theres something going around....

Just wanted to let you know-especially those getting married soon. Theres some type of cold/flu thing going around. NOT to be mistaken with swine flu. Its like a summer cold mixed in with having aches and a temperature.

I was sent home yesterday with 2 co-workers because we were sick and I just broke my fever today. My sister also has a sore throat and another friend of mine is sick also.

So take lots of Vitamin C. I was miserable the past few days.

My DH has it. Well, make that is almost over it.

We thought it was the swine flu because he collapsed at work. It hit him like a ton of bricks and his fever was at 102. Mind you, he had a flu shot. Doctor said if he didn't get the flu shot, the illness would have been much worse! Anyways, it lasts for approx a week to ten days. It's BAD. DH was on tamiflu and it helped but then he developed strep. That is also going around. It's a bad flu season. Donna, I hope you feel better!

And for thise who do not have this virus- All you can do is take your vitamins, drink OJ and eat well to prevent this. AND wash your hands no matter where you go.

My FH is fighting something as well. He's been sleeping all day for like 3 days - we went to the doctor today and apparently he has strep (but no sore throat).

All I know is that he is miserable and I feel so bad for him.

Ugh, feel better! Whatever has been going around I've been fighting tooth and nail...I practically live on OJ, and take my vitamins (almost) every day, and I swear this is the only thing that has kept me healthy...but I do feel the threat now and then of a scratch, a tickle...then I s uck down more OJ!

Thanks ladies. Just make sure you take your meds and fight this ******* virus. I am still feeling like shite and to boot, Im having stomach issues now. I'd like to have a solid meal soon geez!

oh I am soooooo heading to the med cabinet and taking lysine, vitamin C, amino acids, anything healthy I can get my hand on

my chiropracter also said calcium was actually REALLY good for immune system. .. who knew

stay healthy everyone or get healthy if needed

yea, i had a fever, chills, body aches chest cong and had to call in the hotel md on my honeymoon and i had bronchitis and paul got sick too with sinusitis and had the fever with it too. Its back whats going around
