Re: thermals
Cotton thermals usually come with crew necks (some come with V-necks)
Silk thermals come in a bunch of styles. turtleneck, crew neck, scoop neck, v-neck, camisols, etc.

Re: thermals
Silk is WARM. My dad wears them (he is a mailman and is outside all the time). They are thin and warm and he LOVES them. Cuddle duds are a like a microfiber and are warm as well. I think you can get them in department stores. I bought a pair in Macy's years back.
The silks you can get in a ski shop or order online.

Re: thermals
I love cuddle duds! I wear them all the time skiing. If you are going to wear them on a regular basis Cuddle Duds hold up much better than silk and are usually less $$. I would not even bother with cotton. Go for the Cuddle Duds or Silk. You can find both in most dept. stores.
