They forgot to Order my Veil!

I went for my final fitting last night, and when I asked to see my veil they said they couldn't find it, nor a bill, or anything.

They forgot to order it! And I'm getting married in 9 days!!!!!

I'm really shocked I didn't have a bridezilla moment. But you know what, I guess Sh*t happens.. what can you honestly do?

So they are supposed to place it this morning and get it by Tuesday.

Just figures something would happen!

Oh my goodness! Good for you that you kept your composure though - freaking out never helps anything. I guess it could have always been worse - they could have forgotten to order your dress!!! Imagine that!?!?!

wowZERS! Well, that's good that you didnt' have a bridezilla moment And if they can get it here by Tuesday then everything should be OK.

I would contact them and get the shipping/tracking number for the pacakge once it's ordered. Just so you can be SURE they DID order it this time, you know?

OH MY...I just threw up a little in my mouth...I am shocked you didn't freak out...I would have!! I am sure it'll be ok but jeez!! ia m scared about my stuff and my wedding is in 203 days!!

kudos to you for not flipping out. cause even if you flipped out, it wouldn't have changed that it wasn't ordered! but i'm sure being calm was a better route to go...and glad you were able to withold the bridezilla-ness!

Are they giving you any sort of discount or money back?

I ordered my dress, veil, and tiara early. I was told that my dress came. I never got a phone call about that either. I would have thought that my veil and tiara would have been at the shop by now but it's not. They call the company and they told me that it should be at the shop by June. I have a hair trial on May 5. They said that they can lend me the one that they have. I hope that it comes in on time.

Well they are supposed to give it to me at 50% off. They better not think of charging me for the expedited shipping!!

i bet the minute they figured out their mistake and realized how soon your wedding is they were like 'oh....s**t she's gonna go nuts!!!!'

i bet they were relieved you kept your cool! i'm glad it sounds like everything will work out ok and on time.

I guess you did the right thing by not flipping out on them......but I know you must of wanted to scream real loud and ........ugh.....Thats is such bad customer relations, I mean its your wedding....hang in there, it will be in and be right, just hang tight.....My bridal shop is a nightmare, ordered a veil one time and it was ordered incorrect 4 times, I mean what the heck...its only a veil, not to difficult, its not rocket science or anything, they had the wrong color, length and wrong combs,

Yikes! At least it's just your veil and not your gown. I think a veil can be whipped up pretty quickly. But it's not like you need this stress, right? Good luck.
