they just did the cutest thing at my school! i work at a k-5 school, and today was the last day. the 5th graders are going to be giong to middle school next year, and they had a 'clap out' ceremony for them! all the teachers and kids in the younger grades stood out in the hallway and clapped while the 5th graders did one final lap aroudnt he school.
i've only been here for a year, but i started crying just seeing some of the kids getting emotional walking through, and remembering how i felt when i was at that point... so sad to leave not knowing what middle school would be like....
they don't have a 5th grade graduation or anything, but this was such a cute way to recognize them leaving!![]()
