My mom and my BM's did it! The only thing I knew about my shower was the date, next Saturday at 2... well my FH and I were meeting my brother, his girlfriend and my mom and her fiance for lunch... we got there sat down to eat and when I got up and walked past this side room I see this woman my mom used to work with and my first thought is oh my god she's here too! and then I turn to my mom and they are all laughing... they COMPLETELY tricked me... I was like oh my god! I had no clue, still thought it was next weekend! It was great! My BM's did an amazing job, you wouldn't believe the dessert my one BM made, I will post pic because you won't believe your eyes! (Picture does not do them justice though!!) It was the hit of the shower! Got so much good stuff but no where to put it! All in all it was a lot of fun even though I didn't want a surprise!! :)

I was totally surprised for mine too, and when I saw some girl I used to work with sitting at a table at the restaurant, I was like, look honey, Kim's here, let me run over and say hi! I was so shocked, it's fun isn't it??

Thanks everyone! Well the place itself is a little 'hmm.. not such a wonderful place for a shower'... but they had it at this chinese buffet that has a private room.... I guess it helped to surprise me because I would NEVER think it would be there! It was probably a lot cheaper than renting a place and also people could eat whatever they wanted/as much of it as well... everyone seemed to love it, so I can't complain! The girls and my mom did such an amazing job decorating! The favors were butterfly cookie cutters wrapped in tulle with some jordan almonds and little tags that said 'truly cut out for each other,' with our names and the wedding date... my mom made these flower pens that were on all the tables.. my other BM made the amazing cupcake desserts like I said earlier... I got a lot of appliances that I needed and some great dishes, etc... (we already live together so we have a lot already!)... no repeats of any gifts which was great! My mom did the recipe card in the invitation so I have a collection of great recipes, LOVE it! I will definitely post some more pictures when I get them back!
