It just amazes me what the housing market is like, and even more the gall of sellers when it comes to pricing their homes!!!

Are they serious?

that seems very high for a single family house. if it was 2-family, it would probably be about right.

It's not the house itself so much as the LOCATION. That does not seem like the greatest place for a single family home - surrounded (literally) by apartment buildings and coops. I've seen tons of homes in MUCH nicer areas of Flushing (ie North Flushing, Bowne Park area, Auburndale) (and even homes much nicer than this), going for less. It's just crazy.

housing prices are so ridiculous.

i agree that house isnt worth $995k - but they will get somewhere around $600k for it! isnt that unbelievable!

Flushing is an expensive neighborhood so maybe you are paying for that.
