SHOULD I GO TO THE POST OFFICE OR A MAILBOXES ETC? IF I GO TO THE POST OFFICE WHAT IS THIS HAND CANCELING I KEEP HEARING ABOUT? DO I DO THAT? HOW CAN I MAKE SURE THESE IDIOTS DONT FUKC THEM UP??

Honestly, I went to the post office and I just sent them out on Tuesday (from NJ) and everyone already got them, including all relatives in Long Island. I think they got them within a day or 2. I didn't mention anything like that.

They have $.61 stamps of wedding cake that are really pretty! I only had to put 1 of those on!!

YOu only need to hand cancel if they are bulky

i spent so much time trying to get my std's hand cancelled, and they ended up being machine cancelled anyway.

so for my invites, i'm not even bothering to try to get them hand cancelled. just dropping them in the slot.

if they're not bulky I think you can do regular stamping

Even if invites get hand cancelled, they go through a second machine anyway, but I still sent them from the post office here in Manhattan.

Also, if your invite is bulky, it's an additional .20 cents. (They consider anything bulky, whatever does not lay on a table flat-all 4 corners).
