an update on my friends boyfriend who I last posted saying was in a coma and if he didnt pull threw in a few days they would determine he was brain damaged....just calledmy friends sister and she said his blood pressure dropped his heart rate is all wackedout and he is officially brain damaged and on life support. I am soo upset shocked and saddened by all this my poor friend and her young son...Im going there after work.. I cant concentrate on anything I want to get outta here so bad

WELL, aparently, he had a seizure at home, was taken to the hospital and got better then after like 2 days was found unresponsice in his room, apprently his heart stopped for at least 10 minutes and he isnt responding to simple test so he is definately brain dead, how much we do not know yet. He is in a critical coma and I am going with my friends tomorrow to see him... I cannot tel you how differently this is making me look at each and every day of my life, really life is so precious.I really pray that his damage isnt so severe even though the nurses said it doesnt look well from their experience, Im am truly shocked and devestated......obviously my gf is horrible and tearing my heart up.... Im sorry I just need to vent abut it fh isnt home and i just go home and was trying to be brave at her house with her sister the whole time now im slowly breaking......

OMG This is terrible. I am so sorry this is happening to your friend. I can't even imagine being in her situation. Whenever I read things like this, it always helps me put things in perspective.

Depending on how serious this ends up being, see if you can have him sent to Kessler Institute in NJ. I work there and it is one of the leading TBI rehabilitation hospitals in the country. FM if you'd like more information.
