Things to do In Port Jeff??

Things to do In Port Jeff??

We are finally putting together our wedding website and since we have been gone from NY so long need help on what to do on Long Island so any input will be helpful.

Our wedding is Friday night at Port Jeff CC. Most of our guests are coming in Thursday afternoon/evening and will be staying at the Hampton Inn Brookhaven.

What should we tell them to do during their free time? Can they get a cab to Port Jeff if they wanted to go up there and walk around and have dinner?

Also some of my family will be staying through Saturday and going out east. What wineries should we put link to?

They can absolutely get a taxi and walk around Port Jeff.
Here are some nice restaurants:

Pasta Pasta
Danford's (the food in the restaurant all that, but the view is spectacular)
Elk Street Grill
Pace's

Just walking around and looking at all the shops is fun.
My bridal party stayed in the village of Port Jeff, and that's what they did, just walked around, went shopping, ate...they had fun.

Things to do in Port Jeff:
Pasta Pasta is great, but make reservation.
Salsa Salsa is awesome Mexican
Three Village Inn has good food.

If any of them are Irish, there is this cute gift shop loaded with tons of 'Irish' stuff.

They have that little 'mall' down in the village for some nick-nack kind of stuff.

They can watch the Ferry come in to dock.

The can visit the puppies at Yuppy Puppy

Pindar has a store there in the village of Port Jeff for some LI wine. If you want to visit some wineries, def go on the North Fork. Pindar is one of them, but there are many. As you drive along the strip, they will come up one after another.

If they are staying over near Holbrook, they should have dinner at Mama Lombardi's. Same owner of the Port Jeff Country Club. The food is out of this world!!! Italian of course...

just a suggestion; you may want to pick up the liwines brochure that has a map of all the wineries and a brief description of them. i was actually waiting on the ferry line going over to the casino yesterday and they had a free stack of them so..............i took them! and i plan on including them in the oot bags.

I don't live in NY so I will have to see what I can pick up when I go back in August. Maybe I could order some brochures

I grew up in PJ, the town is a tourist area, so there is plenty of shops on Main Street and East Main Street, and restaurants,

Salsa Salsa ! YES
Toast -YES--a great breakfast 'joint' that is where my FH and I had our first date...
The Printers Devil
Paces
there is Starbucks too...
there is a park for small kids behind the 'mall'
there are the docks to 'stroll' on and look at some boats
there is a GAP

Your guests will be fine if they spend time in PJ

My brother had his reception at PJCC and it was sooo nice and I have been to other weddings there (prior to the change in MGMNT/owner)..and they have great.
