Thinking about Hawaii for HM

Thinking about Hawaii for HM

I am debating about going to Hawaii for my HM. THe only thing that I am questioning right now is the flight time. I am not that crazy about flying, but in the end, I will probably go. Here are my questions.

Which islands are the best to stay at?
Hotels on the islands?
What to do at each island?

I am assuming that most of you went through a travel agent to book your HM, so I guess they arrange all the flying from one island to the other.

Please let me know all specifics about Hawaii. I was just looking online at prices, but that was just for one island and one hotel, I don't know if you can book your own Hawaii trip without a travel agent.

Thanks

I have been to three islands: Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii. Hawaii is desolate; if you stay in a nice hotel, there is usually a lot to do there, and there is also the volcano. Maui, in my opinion, is the most beautiful. There are all these nature tours, the beaches are amazing. It is truly a tropical paradise. Oahu is the best when it comes to nightlife and historical landmarks. I have also heard that Kauai is very beautiful.

I went at stayed at Maui for 7 days and Kauai for 3. I wished I did 5 and 5. Stayed at the Grand Wailea in Maui and Hyatt in Kauai. Both top of the line and great.

Hawaii is gorgeous and there is so much to do...I posted so much info (and pictures) when I came back and again in the last month or so. Search for my screen and you should find a bunch.

I did all my arrangements thru a travel agent but I do have a friend who booked for 2 islands all on their own. I couldn't imagine it. When you find a travel agent...look for someone who specializes in Hawaii. We went to a local Liberty Travel first but later found a woman in the city who had a specialty in Hawaiian travel and she had better pricing and info for us.

FM me if you have any questions!
