FH and I are thinking of changing our honeymoon. We are supposed to go to Hawaii but the wedding is getting close and we realized we still have A LOT of money to come up with to pay for the wedding and don't have as much money as we would have hoped we would (well zero to be exact!) for the honeymoon.
We were thinking that instead of putting that much money on a credit card we could think of somewhere else to go that is more affordable (like half the price).
So far we are thinking of Aruba. Does anyone have any suggestions for all inclusive resorts and prices?
Also, if you have any suggestions on other places to go. We have already been to Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico so those are out. Also, we want to go somewhere where we can leave the resort and explore the island with it being nice and safe.
Thanks!!!!!!

We're going to Aruba for our honeymoon and staying at the Hyatt... its newly renovated. I've heard that its not really necessary to do all-inclusive in Aruba as there are a ton of really great places to eat in the town.

we went to Aruba for FH's aunt's destination wedding last year. We stayed at the Divi Tamajrin. They are connected also to the Divi Divi resort. When you stay at one of the resorts, you can use all of the ammenities at both. We had an oceanfront room with a balcony and everything. We had a great time. There is alot to do in Aruba.

I was in Aruba back in October and absolutely loved it! I think I had posted a while back a review of everywhere we had gone to go eat and things we did. If i find it, i'll post it for you.

Re: Thinking of changing our honeymoon- Please help
its not all inclusive but the Radisson is amazing in aruba and there are SOOOO many places to eat in aruba that it really is a shame to go to an all inclusive. there are places to eat lunch (subway, pizza, hooters) and amazing ones for dinner. gouchos, the italian across the street (cant remember the name) the mariott is nice, but we went over there and its really far from resturants that are down the other end where the radisson and hyatt are. the hyatt seemed to have more kids (but we went in august) i think because they had a kids camp there
there are also things to do there at night.. ice cream, clubs/bars/ casino
