This annyoed me

This annyoed me

So I am still thinking about favors and deciding what I want to do.

Yesterday I posted a Favor Thread- Show me your favors.

A few hours later I get an fm from a vendor- telling me since I was looking for favors, I should give her a call.

I feel like 'fming' her back and saying that I do not need her help, and even if I did I would not use her bc I did not post anything on the vendors board, it was on brides helping brides and she shouldn't have bothered me....

That just totally annoyoed me....

i would be annoyed too at that...
the vendor must be looking hard for business...
i can undertsand going to a bridal show and getting a call... but not posting on a website and getting personal FM...

i had the same feeling when it happened to me- i actually had two different florists comment when i was having toruble with flowers

I am not sure I would be that annoyed considering I was in sales and that's how you get business... It wasn't like she posted as a on this board...

I've had florists, djs and favor people do the same. They are usually people I've never heard of before. I guess if your just starting out you take the chance of being annoying to get a customer. I dont know

I'd rather get a FM I can just delete than all those annoying phone calls I got when I was planning.

Be careful... a lot of vendors pose as brides and hype their businesses and services.

Let everyone know what vendor it is and hang them out to dry!

Maybe she was trying to be helpful. They are trying to get business. At least she is not calling your home all times a night, but fm'd.. so you can choose to delete. Or, perhaps respond if you truly were at the stage where you were looking.
