So i was in a wedding this weekend for a friend of mine. I was helping to put together the escort cards and there was a hole in the tablecloth! We tried to hide it under a card box (the cards were in a box thing) and then we revealed a stain!
I was so annoyed! I mean how could you put holy, stained tablecloths out..there was also a big stain on my tablecloth at dinner...would this bother anyone else??

yeah that would bother me...as a guest AND as the bride. I KNOW that my hall won't let things like that happen, but those are the kinds of things I don't really wanna know about as the bride, KWIM?

I was out of the state so not place you ladies have to be concerned! I didn't tell the bride but I told my BM that if she sees this, she should get my mom and have it fixed before a guest sees!

yeah, I would be bothered as the bride since I would know how much I spent on the place
I don't know if I would have noticed as a guest though, sometimes I am really oblivious.
ITA though, if you're a guest and you noticed, don't tell me!

yea I'd be annoyed, but I'd hope my guest could overlook it if everything else was great, just pray it was some horrible oversight

that would annoy me. considering how much money we're spending on these halls, the least they could do is replace ripped/stained/old table cloths! and i would notice it if I were a guest - i guess i just notice little things like that.
