I'm going dress shopping with my supervisor from work and she couldn't get a sitter for her 2 year old so he's coming along. Does anyone know of any wedidng gown stores where you can just walk in and not be treated like a pauper?

Blanchee's in East Rockaway....they're the best....I'm buying all my stuff from them...try it on somewhere else, find exactly what you want and order it from them....We're actually probably going there tomorrow to order our BM dresses for my MOH's wedding in July. Good luck!!!

you can check out helens bridal it is inside wedding World in commack (thats my favorite place) lol i got my dress there. its not a big store but they have alot of nice stuff if you know what ur looking for you can call first and see if they have it

YEah Jess ur screwed....I would stop at a toy store and buy him a coloring book or something to keep him occupied for a bit but you have about a 20 minute window of his attention....Good luck Think of it this way...it will DEFINATELY be a memorab;e experience...

HAHA yes this is similar to what I picture whle dress shopping. I did call up wedding world in commack they said I can come in as a walk in but there are no appointments open. I think my idea of lacing the kids candy is my best bet.

u called wedding world not wedding center right? If you go to wedding world and want to see something if they are not busy i am sure they will let u try something on they are very nice.

yup I called wedding world, I've already been to wedding center. I'm also going to charmet. It's a very tiny store and it's right in bayside, where I live! I don't have anything in mind I'm just going to try stuff on, I hope they let me take pictures or else I'll sic the 2 year old on them

every place i went to look at dresses i had my 2 neices with me..we had o choice they are almost 1 and almost 2..and they were fine..
paradise bridal in patchogue were great..thats where i got my dress and they didnt mind the kids..they let them play with tiaras to keep them busy
