Doesn't it feel like yesterday? I remember staying up all night watching the funeral.

Wow - I remember just moving into my freshman dorm and thinking that my roommate was insane for crying about it for hours on end.
It was very sad, but she cried like she lost a family member.

This day was the first time I met DH's entire family upstate. We listened to the radio the whole way home with the news.

Her funeral was the same day as my grandmother's. I remember us watching Diana's while we were getting ready to go to the funeral home. Mother Theresa also died a couple of days before, because I remember the minister talking about her and Diana at my grandmother's funeral.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I remember my brother coming into the living room and saying 'Did you hear? Di's dead!'
It really bothers me tho that her death completely overshadowed Mother Theresa's. I can't believe it's been 9 years tho, may they both rest in peace.

I was 14 when this happened....I was going into high school that year, and we had just gotten back from some carnival, it was 11 at night or so and we were at my friend's house and heard the news.
