This dress but less expensive???!?!

For our summer wedding at the Old Field Club I have been looking for bridesmaids dresses that are quite different then the rest.

I want a short dress that is not taffita (SP?).
I want a dress that the girls could be sure to wear again at a party/wedding/ something.

I have not seen many that I like but this one from the Vineyard Collection at Pricillas of Boston is one that I really think would be perfect.

The problem being...this dress is close to $300. I would be feel bad asking anyone to shell out that kind of cash.

Has anyone seen anything like this anywhere else? Perhaps not a bridesmaid collection?

Any help would be great!

If this is onle of the vineyard dresses then it will be under $200. I used long dresses for my girls from the VIneyard line and they were $198.....so Im sure the short ones are cheaper. I know the short Melissa Sweet were Around 200 When I was looking also. Not sure if prices went up...I ordered in Oct of 08

When I looked 2 months ago it was $279 without tax.
I need to do some more research!!

What color are you looking for? I would check out Nordstrom online. They have a bunch of dresses similar to that style for half that price. HTH!

Check http://www.jasminebridal.com/J_2.aspx . They have a ton of BM dresses, in TONS of colors, and many look like they can be worn again. I've been checking out their website for my girls' dresses!

very cute dress... i will keep my eye out if I see something similar... i agree with checking out Jamsine though... they have a ton of gorgeous bridesmaids dresses.

if you're not stuck on Vineyard (I loooove their dresses!!) then check out Jim Hjelm.. he's got a lot of 'wear it again' dresses and from what I remember I've seen some similar to that dress. Depending on the bridal shop they'll also discount it for you if you order your dress there.
