to speak with the photographer's. I'm a bit excited to get this off the list as well, but when I went to make an appointment the packages that I saw were so expensive. They do a great job and I have seen much of their work, but do you guys think that $5000 is a bit pricey? And what is it that you guys have included in your packages? How many pics for the parents and what about your own album?

I don't think thats bad, but it all depends on how you want to spend your buget. I'm spending the most on photos and video because thats the most important to me.
I got a bounded album with 125 pic for me. Two parent albums with 18 pics. 11*14 8*10 75 thank you cards Can't remember what else. I still haven't added all the additional 8*10 and 5*7 pics and mine package is over 5k already with just my base

I got 40 pics for my allbum and 12 pics for the parent album ('we're getting two of those). To me, the $5000 sounds like a lot. We got a package for under $4000 and it includes the video as as well as the photos!!! You can negotiate the packages.... we basically created our own package of what we wanted. I also recommend going to a small studio, or a photographer that works on his own. these huge studios have so much overhead (rent, hiring a million photographers, etc. etc.) that they pass the cost on to you, the customer.

Yes it is for both the video and photo, I guess its about right. Let me ask something else as well. My parents are separated, so do I have to get one album for each, and my grandparents as well as my FIL's?
