between a 'wedding florist' and a 'regular florist'

Does the 'wedding florist' have more training or access to better supplies (vases, candelabra's and such)

Speaking of florist, I assume they come to pick up their items (candelabra's, vases, arches) at the end of the night or the day after Or maybe the halls hold their items until they arrange pick up It's not like a tuxedo right, where they expect the couple to return them

the wedding florist probably charges MORE! (just like everything else wedding related!)

No, you're not responsible for anything of theirs.
I think the difference is a wedding florist just specializes in weddings (Burtons is this). I think they do enough business that they dont need to advertise or anything. They can just focus on one 'industry'.

I guess the fact that you can't just walk in off the street and order a bo-k of flowers...

They 'lend' you the candelabras and such and they take care of it at the end of the night (either by sending someone to get it or having the hall get them). The wedding florist does weddings and 'special events'. The regular florist normally has a shop and sells flowers year round, does funerals, has balloons and can probably save you thousands!

My florist is a full service florist-weddings, parties..funerals...etc..most are including mother's day, valentines day and just because flowers.

I would think that the weddings are a large part of most retail florists $$.
